Oliver is located eleven miles from the US border, thirty minutes south of Penticton in the Okanagan valley.  Recreational activites about including golfing, winery tours, biking and hiking, swimming, skiing and many other sports and interesting events.

Elm Tree Farm B and B is with in walking distance of the hike and bike train, close to several golf courses and many wineries.  We are located on a quiet creek so bird watching opportunites abound.

Okanagan Gleaners
The Okanagan Gleaners Society is a Registered Non-Denominational Christian Group with a food processing plant in Oliver.  They receive surplus food and process it into a form that can be donated to hungry people around the world.  About 30 to 50 volunteers operate the food processing plant year round and distribute their dried fruit and vegetables through other registered charities.  Visit their web site at
